How to change color cmd command prompt? 
Generally cmd command prompt, background default color has black.

Cmd command not have show menu to direct change color.

Cmd command prompts, setting menu have hide when you click on the right key of mouse in corner of top then properties you see and hear customized option are available.

You can easily customize background and text color of CMD.

Here some step follow to change background color.

First, you press window  keys on the keyboard.

Here write down cmd and click ok button.

When you enter button new pop-up window is open.

After then move the arrow top of cmd command and right click on the mouse and click on properties.
Here open new pop-up window and here various options are available like background color, text color, layout and other option are available.

You see, first option is options here you can change cursor size here various options are available in small, medium, large.

Also here see command history and edit option.

Second is font option

Here default font is 8x12.

  8 mean each character 8 pixels wide and 12 suggest high of the character in pixels.
Third is layout option

Here you change screen width and height.

First is screen buffer size and second is widow size default size, width 80 and height 100. Third is window option like left and top show the window position where you show your window position.

And last option is colors 

 Here you see check button first is screen text color.
